SCO Wins Major EU Contract Bid

Social Change Online, with its consortium partners have won a major contract with EU to a total value of over 700,000 Euros.

Motiive

The project is called Motiive (Marine Overlays on Topography for Annex 11 Valuation and exploration) and is funded through the EU sixth framework agreement.

The consortium has a number of members besides SCO,including the UK Ministry of Defence,Edina,HR Walingford and the Dutch based EUCC.

SCO has responsibility on the project for leading on standards creation and standardisation process,the key to enabling data from different sources across the EU to be implemented.

The project will run over a two year period and builds on a SCO's successful involvement in the EU funded Marine XML project.
