Mapping Enabled

The power of maps as a communication medium has long been recognised. For the first time it is now possible to publish maps alongside normal site content and to automatically locate any item with an address on a map. In addition, it is possible to combine different types of mapping information, for example natural resource information with weather maps.

This can all be achieved by using the unique mapping enablement features of AIMS4 combined with specialist web mapping tools.

Example of this concept are endless:

• Local government - locations of facilities such as halls, libraries, community services, zoning maps
• Emergency services - locations of facilities, assets, incidents
• Environment - water and air quality, land management
• Socio-economic - income, union membership, poverty, homelessness
